The SafeRoads Alberta system was designed with speed in mind. You have 7 days to file an appeal and a decision will be made within 30 days of issuance of the ticket.
2. Do your research!
Do not believe everything you see on the internet.
Per legislation, all SafeRoads Alberta decisions are published on CanLii. Type in "Agent Name/Lawyer Name" and "NAP is cancelled" or "Agent Name/Lawyer Name" and "NAP is confirmed". See their outcomes.
If their names do not come up, chances are they have little to NO experience! Or, perhaps their website numbers are fiction! You can also see the hundreds of decisions I have been a part of by typing D. Williams.
While you can file an appeal yourself, hiring a professional may increase your chances of success. Knowledge and experience matter.
